OK Go has linked with Indaba Music and the Rock Band Network to launch a remix contest for their upcoming song, “White Knuckles." As part of the involved contest, the winning song will be included in Rock Band 3. More details at okgo.net.



European authorities have been raiding a number of suspected piracy hubs throughout the continent, according to numerous reports. The coordinated effort involves 15 countries, is largely focused on film and targets The Scene, a loosely-affiliated group responsible for a considerable amount of pre-releases.

Royksopp is now streaming their upcoming album through the Hype Machine, thanks to a nice assist from Soundcloud. The all-instrumental release, Senior, hits next week.

A Hamburg state court recently found YouTube liable for infringement on a number of uploaded Sarah Brightman videos, despite warnings posted on the site. That offers a serious challenge to the company, though an appeal is underway.



On Wall Street, most music stocks edged downward amidst renewed European debt concerns. Warner Music Group (WMG) slipped 5.11 percent to $4.64, while Live Nation (LYV) dropped 6.92 percent to $9.15. Sirius XM Radio (SIRI) remained level at $1.01. A complete wrap here.
