Artists who will be saluting Ms. Carroll that night include Jackie Cain, Bill Charlap, Jay Leonhart, Houston Person, Daryl Sherman, Grady Tate, Kenny Washington and Kenny Washington.
In 2003, Ms. Carroll received a Mary Lou Williams Women in Jazz Award for her contribution to jazz.
