Nelson's most recent work focuses on complex combinations of realism and expressionism. Subjects include - jazz portraits, local bar scenes, and cityscapes.

Artist, Oil Painter, Riki R Nelson will have a one evening only solo exhibition of selected oil paintings, featuring both jazz portraits and local cityscapes, as part of the Los Gatos, Jazz on the Plazz summer concert celebration. Bring a picnic lunch, and a bottle of wine, and enjoy the visually stunning oil paintings of artist R.R. Nelson, while listening to the rich and sparkling sounds of jazz pianist John Proulx
Time & Place : Wednesday July 22nd, 2009 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. (concert runs 6:30 to 8:30) at the Los Gatos Town Plaza. Artist Riki R. Nelson will be in attendance along with her work.
