Showtime is 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $15, $10 for students, no advance sales, tickets sold only at the door. Information: 215-247-9797 or 215-517-8337.
One music writer described Georgie Bonds – a trained blacksmith, incidentally - as a man whose voice has the power to shake the walls without a microphone, yet with a gentle warmth that is reminiscent of the finest balladeer's. Singing is his life, and anyone who has heard Georgie instantly understands why."
Wailing sax, stinging guitar and a rock solid foundation is what The Flashpoints bring to each show. The Flashpoints play Rhythm and Blues from the time when it was a mixture of jump blues, rock’n’roll and soul. Long time fan favorites, they will have the place jumping.
John Colgan-Davis is a founding member of the Dukes of Destiny one of the region’s favorite blues bands for an astounding 40 years. John will perform a rare acoustic set with former Dukes guitarist Richard Ray Adler. This is not to be missed!
