Press Release: From Clarkstown South Band Parents Association Clarkstown South High School (in West Nyack) is proud to announce the 6th Annual Rockland County Jazz Festival. The Festival will be held on Tuesday, January 20th, 2004, at 7 pm in the auditorium of Clarkstown South High School. Hopefully, this year we will have at least 7 area high schools participating in this Festival. The high schools who participated last year were: Clarkstown North, Nanuet High School, Ramapo High School, Suffern High School, Nyack High School, North Rockland High School and Clarkstown South High School. Tickets for this performance will be on sale through the band directors of the participating high schools and will be sold at the door. The cost is $3.00 for students and senior citizens and $5.00 for adults. 50% of the proceeds will be donated to The People-to-People Foundation. The student musicians recognize the need to help support those who are less fortunate in our community. In addition to performing, students will be prepared to collect any canned or dry goods donated.
