5th Williamsburg Jazz Festival September 16-22, 2007
The WJF's varied program includes some of the most interesting young voices of today's NYC jazz scene leading their own bands. The weeklong festival will spread through 5 venues in Williamsburg and will feature free as well as ticketed shows.
This year's WJF team includes: trumpeter and festival founder Jesse Selengut; trombonist Rick Parker; and newly added co-producer Jurate Kajokaite, who has produced and curated projects in music, film and photography in both U.S. and Europe in collaboration with Anthology Film Archives, International Vilnius Jazz Festival, Museum of New Mexico, Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, Inc.
