“45” WORLD RECORD MUSICAL EVENT
A once in a lifetime, only one in the world, non-stop improvisational musical event”
April 25, 26, 27 at FO4 Galleria in Padua Italy Contact [email protected] or [email protected]
Project Overview
After a successful world record 33 hour and 20 minute non-stop improvisation show in 2004 known simply as “33 1/3” Chris Boulet and Willie Oteri are hosting “45”. Forty five hours of non-stop improvised music to take place in Padua Italy in late April of this year. “33 1/3” drew more than 60 musicians and performers from around the world with a constant flow of spectators keeping the Club Banale in Padua jumping for over 33 hours straight and brought together many great musicians and performers who may otherwise not had a chance to meet. Some are now working on projects together after meeting at this event.
With “45” the organizers hope to have booths, as well as the live music, selling CDs, artworks and offering information on the music business, etc. This is a large venue with nearby lodging and large parking areas. Padua is a beautiful Italian city just west of Venice with great architecture, artworks, museums, food, parks and great people.
“45” will also provide a chance for musicians to present their own talents in an improvised environment. The natural progression of these events dictates slightly more structure each time and although the music will never stop there will be times when groups and individual artists can show their talents. There will be screens and spaces available for visual arts, and stage space for performance art.
Last years event drew world class musicians and producers from Germany, Italy, USA, Croatia, Africa and beyond.
Dates
The scheduled dates for this event are April 25th and 26th and 27th of this year 2005 at FO4 in Padua Italy. The closest airport is the Marco Polo in Venice just 20 minutes away by train.
