This season's Philly All-Star night features Christian McBride, “the world's most in-demand bassist," and his acclaimed quartet. This former Sting sideman has come into his own as a bandleader, after performing with legends from Herbie Hancock to Chick Corea. Plus local legend and Max Roach Quartet alum Odean Pope leads his nine-member Saxophone Choir in their Verizon Hall debut. And saxophonist Ravi Coltrane is along for a special guest appearance!
