Todd Schroeder

Todd Schroeder (musical director/pianist) sits beneath his pork-pie hat having the time of his life. He is a brilliantly talented pianist, composer, director, producer, arranger, songwriter and certainly one of the hardest-working music directors in the world of show business today, working with such celebrities as Jason Alexander, Leslie Odom Jr., Tom Jones, Sam Harris, Rita Coolidge, Brielle Von Hugel and the legendary Angela Lansbury to name a few. Todd is also the music director and pianist for the superstar retro-pop group “Postmodern Jukebox” and has performed with them around the world including directing their debut at Radio City Music Hall in October of 2016. He can be seen in many of their viral videos including the mega-hit “My Heart Will Go On", which has garnered over five million views. In January of 2017, Schroeder was awarded the prestigious L.A Stage Alliance “Ovation Award” for “Best Musical Direction” and BroadwayWorld.com named him their “Musical Director of the Year”. Todd has had the honor of being invited to perform with many distinguished groups including the Boston Pops Orchestra, Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Duke Ellington Orchestra and has performed at illustrious venues like Carnegie Hall and The White House. In addition to performing as music director for various artists on daytime and late night talk shows including “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and the “The Late, Late Show”, Schroeder acts as music and vocal director for various live performance shows including Disney’s “Aladdin , A Musical Spectacular” and Universal Studios Japan’s productions of “Wicked” in Osaka, Japan. And finally, Todd is very proud to be the founder of the “Todd Schroeder Young Artist Grant”, an annual scholarship that for over 20 twenty years has been presented to graduating high school students that wish to pursue a career in the arts.
