The Beat Hotel is an 12-piece band with a 3-piece horn section playing the R&B Mardi Gras swamp funk music that made New Orleans famous. The band members include Bruce Blaylock (musical director and lead guitar), Lauren Cattaneo (lead vocals), Paul Scimonelli (bass & vocals), Mercedes Mill (vocals), Francis Thompson (drums), Ariel Francis (guitar ) plus Bruce Swaim(Sax), Justine Miller (Trumpet), and Doug Elliott (Trombone).
