Steve Girardi

Steve Girardi aka “the River Guide” is the principal composer and guitarist for the “Within Inside Trio” with Grammy award winning bassist Mike Richmond and drummer Mark Graham. He has recorded and/or performed with Mike Richmond, Mark Graham, Billy Drewes, Andy Lalasis, Jim Ridl, Bob Ferguson, Dan Crisci, John O’Gallagher, Ron Clearfield, Dave MacKenzie, Willie Williams, Kevin Brown, Sue Williams, BD Lenz, Mick Rossi, Dave Schroeder, George Mesterhazy and Cornelius Bumpus.

He has produced and released two critically acclaimed CD’s “Within Inside” and “Blue Sky with Tears.”

As a film composer his original music can be heard in two films “Bartleby” and “La Creation Just au bout” by French film maker Gerard Amsellem.

He is the author of the guitar sight-reading book Vth Position.
