The SHIRAZETTE EXPERIMENT CORE-TET is an eclectic acoustic/electric sound of jazz compiled of the leader's multitude of experiences from playing with various artist in various genres. Shirazette's sound can be defined as jazzy, world, swinging, percussive, high, energizing, emotional, and life driven. All the compositions are written by Shirazette and come alive off the page because of the amazing caliber of musicianship exuded by her and her band. Comprised of drum set and cajon, saxophone, piano, bass, and sometimes cello, Tinnin's music is a laboratory of sound that will engage you and keep you attuned. Her soon to be released album called "Before us There was Them: Live and Learn Volume 1" is the sound of instrumentalists and a few vocals that reflect her emotions through music. It also reflects her experiences with others and through those there were before her. It is a story telling guideline of thick and thin, big breaks and big mistakes, do agains and do overs from a musical point of view.
