Roger Paulson

Graduate of Willamette University College of Music Composed, arranged and directed jazz services in churches around the Willamette Valley for several years, playing piano with the troup of 12-15 musicians and vocalists. Long career in the marketing and programming of motion pictures in theatres in major U.S. cities. Among Portland clients were the KOIN Center, Fox Tower, Cinema 21 and Hollywood. For ten years, a publicist and promotional representative for a dozen independent film distributors in the Northwest. Currently a partner in a single screen small town theatre. For fifteen years until 2016, an arranger and composer of original music at First Congregational UCC in downtown Portland. Also, directed and played piano for the monthly Sunday morning jazz worship services at FCC. Played piano with the local jazz quintet, Tonight’s Special. Presently playing a duo with Laurent Nickel, Rogeri, and guests here at the Old Church for Portland Storytellers events.
