Rastko Zager

Rastko Zager has been involved in music for more than 45 years. He participated in various local jazz and jazz-rock bands during the previous years, with breaks between individual musical activities. The activities of Rastko Zager in the past were participating with the bands  Surfing Jazz Quintet and Rebus. In his early youth, he begun playing with the pianist Dejan Pecenko in their high school band Drseči tečaj. Later in 1978-1979 he played in the newer version of band Drseči tečaj with an above average African guitarist - Boyd Chuuya - and even later with pianist and composer Milko Lazar in the group Surfing Jazz Quintet (the album "Waves" on YT). Last 6 years he is leading band "Emil and the Detectives".
