Pete Rosa

PETE ROSA has toured as a big band musician for five decades. He has performed with Bob Hope; recorded at Capital and Columbia Studios with Irene Kral, Gisele MacKenzie, Rosemary Clooney and others; backed jazz greats such as drummer Ed Shaughnessy and trumpet player Clark Terry of the Tonight Show, Cat Anderson lead trumpet for Duke Ellington, Gary Burton vibes, drummer Roy Burns and others. Pete has played in trumpet sections with Larry Ford, Canada’s Bobby Herriot, Warren Luening, Dennis Noday, Jim Scargarri, Bobby Shew, and Bill Stapelton to name a few. Today, Pete is known in Sarasota & Manatee counties for his work on Sophisticated Swing, Bob Zimmerman, Jazz Ambassadors and George Carroll Big Bands. Career Credits include:
