Nick Isherwood

Nick Isherwood is a Boston-based double bassist, composer, and educator from Washington State. He completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Performance from the Berklee College of Music before attending the New England Conservatory, where he received a Master's Degree in Jazz Performance in 2025. Along with teaching bass as an adjunct professor at Roger Williams University, Nick co-leads and composes for his jazz trio, Bean Supper, and works regularly recording, touring, and performing with various ensembles throughout New England and beyond. He can be heard playing locally at venues such as The Regatta Bar, Wally's Jazz Cafe, The Lilypad, Jimmy's Jazz and Blues Club, and The Mad Monkfish.
