Nādt Orchestra
Nādt Orchestra was founded in Bologna in 2020 with the aim of creating a musical language rich in diverse influences and cross-cultural elements. Made up of eight young and talented musicians, the group stands out for its ability to blend the various sensibilities of its members into a multifaceted synthesis that transcends and reinvents stylistic boundaries. Nādt Orchestra's sound is a journey between tradition and innovation, where different genres converge and intertwine, giving life to a dynamic, ever-evolving sound. Under the propulsive impetus of guitarist Domenico Romano, over the course of the past few years the band has developed a versatile and modern sound language, giving shape to the tracks that make up their debut album, Dualism (Locomotiv Records).
The band's sonic landscape draws from historical influences shaped by significant musical diasporas, while also staying firmly rooted in contemporary sensibilities. While maintaining strong ties to the world of jazz, the music of Nādt Orchestra is characterized by the incorporation of electronic elements, enhancing the band's exploration of timbre and rhythm. Rhythm, in particular, plays a central role, deeply rooted in African and South American traditions, giving life to a vibrant dance that spans the globe.
