James Uhart
James Uhart, started the JTrio while still a student in Boston's Berklee College of Music, with Justin Purtill on bass and Julien Augier on drums. They recorded the first album 'London' in 2001 followed by 'Camels Dance'. Two more in New York: 'Time Away' and 'Light as an Elephant' and finally the soon to be released (2014) 'Sous le Lampadaire' that was recorded in Paris.
In addition to the Trio albums, James recorded a duo project with singer Gino Sitson called 'Conversation'. He also features on the album 'Light as an Elephant.'
James is currently based in London, UK.
