John Korchok

Born in Timmins, Ontario, lived in Canada until 2001. I played with art rock bands like Icarus, the Warm Jets and Tekst. As a member of Tekst, I played at the Music Gallery in Toronto and recorded "Avatamsaka's Wave Packet". Currently I am a member of the free improv ensemble ArtCrime (http://www.artcrime.net) based in the New York City area. In addition to playing, I am the pro tem sound engineer and produced our EP "June 2011".
