Mac Santiago

Drummer- Percussionist-Pedagogue. Originally from the west coast(Ca.)Been gigging and private teaching around the Minneapolis -St.Paul area for the past 29 years.Performed in many different situations during that period.Presently free-lancing with local jazz groups(large and small).Currently developing a community based jazz center called "Jazz Central Studios"in the Minneapolis' St.Anthony neighborhood.Last fall published first book"Beyond the Metronome".A method/study of timekeeping/tempo/internal clock as applied to all instruments.
