Ian is accepting private students at intermediate and advanced levels. Jazz improvisation, sight-reading, tone production, and music theory are some of the areas I focus on. Please contact me by email if you are interested. Credentials: Bachelor's of Music University of North Texas; Master's of Music San Diego State University. Studied classical pedagogy and jazz improvisation with Dr. Eric Nestler, Jim Riggs, and Charles McPherson. Nine years teaching experience.
