Duke was Born and raised in Miami, FL before it was a place to be. As a young man, Duke was inspired by sounds of Big Band, and Swing. Today, Duke is a Smooth Jazz Sax Solo Artist, and Composer. Duke also plays several other instruments, including Vocals, Trumpet, Conga's, and Guitar.

Duke's main Horn is a vintage 1974 Selmer Mark IV Alto Sax. Typical instrumentation at a gig will include Trumpet, Conga's, and a PA audio system which will support upto six speakers to deliver a balanced sound forum.
