Родена е на 29 май в град Плевен. Занимава се с музика от съвсем малка. Свири на цигулка, но още тогава пеенето я привлича неудържимо. Заявява на родителите си, че ще стане певица. За нея това не е мечта, а реална и постижима цел. Започва да се занимава професионално с музика съвсем млада. След като завършва училище, известно време е беквокалистка на дует „Ритон”. След това подписва договор с една от най-скъпо платените унгарски групи – “Оксижен Бенд” и заминава за Скандинавските страни. 1991 година, създава своя група „Доктор Доктор”. Заедно с тях отново работи в Швеция, Норвегия, Финландия в продължение на цели 3 години. Една невероятна школа за всеки артист. Впоследствие пътува и работи в Кипър, Египет и Израел. Популярността й вече е толкова голяма, че тя отказва предложения за работа в Мароко и Корея, и избира Швейцария. Там в сръбските заведения Рени за първи път започва да пее попфолк. Дотогава репертоарът й включва поп и рок парчета, на английски, испански и италиански!998 година е може би най-важната в кариера на зеленооката дива! Тогава тя се връща в родината и издава първият си албум. Заглавието е „Искам те”, а албумът е тотален хит, който превръща Рени в звезда буквално за дни! 1999 година Рени подписва договор с най-мощната сръбска компания „Grand Production”. С тях издава и дебютния си албум на сръбски, който излиза и в български вариант, а едноименната песен “Като птица съм свободна” се пее и до днес. Тя е първата и единствена чужденка, която спечелва сърцата на сръбските фенове и се превръща в звезда в „Меката на поп-фолка”. Това е успех, който нито един български изпълнител не е успял да постигне и до ден днешен. 2000 година кариерата и продължава устремно – нов албум, който също е с огромен успех. Рени е първата поп-фолк звезда, която се осмелява да направи самостоятелен концерт в Зала 1 на НДК. Успехът е тотален! Залата е пълна до пръсване, а звездата радва своята публика с пеене на живо. 2001 година - След успехът в Сърбия на дебютния албум, логично следва втори сръбски албум. Отново създаден от най-добрите автори на Сърбия. 2002 година - Рени работи паралелно в България и Сърбия. Излиза поредният й тотален хит „Влюбих се опасно”. Като логично продължение на успеха на албума се явява втория самостоятелен концерт в зала 1 на НДК, като специално от Сърбия пристига оркестър, който акомпанира изпълненията.
