Jansen Santana
Born in Salvador-Bahia-Brazil, Jansen began his music career very early. At the age of three he accompanied his father Peu Meurray and his mother, the singer Cida Nunes on their shows.
He has played with many top artists, such as Antonio Forcione Trio, Almanaque with Luca Boscagin and Oren Marshall’s Perturbando at international festivals, cultural and environmental projects.

His influences come from places he visits and the music on the streets of Salvador, Bahia, the northeast region of Brazil where he was born and raised.

His ability to weave complex rhythms with contemporary sounds has established his place as one of the most exciting and versatile musicians in the global music community.
