Wil Cameron

Wil Cameron is a Washington, DC-area drummer and percussionist whose work spans jazz, R&B, funk, blues, gospel, rock, Go-Go, and contemporary live performance. With more than 20 years of experience, he brings a strong pocket, musical sensitivity, and adaptable stage presence to bands, artists, recording projects, churches, community events, and special engagements.

Based between the DC/Baltimore region and Indianapolis, Wil performs on acoustic drums, Roland V-Drums, hybrid electronic setups, cajón, djembe, and hand percussion. His approach combines rhythmic precision, dynamic energy, and thoughtful restraint, equally suited to driving a groove, supporting vocalists, and adding color to more open or complex musical arrangements.
