Arnab Sengupta is a contemporary singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer based in Bangalore, India. With a musical journey spanning over three decades, Arnab’s work stands at the confluence of lyrical sensitivity, jazz-rooted sophistication, and deeply personal storytelling.
Drawn to music with quiet intensity from a young age, Arnab immersed himself in the study of Western contemporary styles—particularly jazz—long before he began writing his own songs. By 2006, after years of listening, transcribing, and honing his craft, he began composing original work that fused instinct with introspection.
Over five studio albums, Arnab has developed a distinctive voice—philosophical, melodic, and emotionally resonant. His songs don’t chase trends—they offer space for reflection, self-enquiry, and quiet emotional resilience.
Arnab has collaborated with musicians across the globe, contributed to international projects including as a songwriter and vocalist for Cincinnati-based prog-rock band Perfect Era, and produced original music for vocal students under his mentorship.
Whether through melody, mood, or message, Arnab Sengupta's music invites listeners not just to hear—but to feel.
