Allan Hirt
Boston-based, Philadelphia area-raised bassist, composer, and arranger Allan Hirt has been playing jazz nearly from the moment he picked up a bass.
Over the years Allan has played with Ran Blake, Alan Dawson, Ricky Ford, Steve Lacy, and others in the Boston area. He has been a member of the jazz ensembles Discipline and Pulse where he wrote, produced, arranged, and played on three albums.
His latest album is Moving Forward (2022).
