Joanna Turich

Joanna has extensive experience as a performer and singer across a range of musical styles, in addition to her years of teaching practice. Joanna headlined two sold out shows for her Pop–Up Jazz Club Tour in regional Queensland at the Gladstone Entertainment Centre and at Headricks Lane, Rockhampton, in 2018.  Joanna featured in the Queensland Music Festival in 2017 with vocal harmony group ‘ConChord’.  ‘ConChord’ were also featured artists at the Queensland Tourism Awards at the Brisbane Convention Centre in 2018. Joanna performs regularly around Brisbane at venues including Eat Street Markets and the Brisbane Jazz Club.

Having already attained a Bachelor of Education and an ATCL with Distinction in Musical Theatre from Trinity College of London, Joanna is currently a candidate for the Bachelor of Music in Jazz Voice Performance at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University. Joanna will continue her passion for learning and teaching under the guidance of Dr Irene Bartlett and Dr Ron Morris to complete the Master of Music Studies in Vocal Pedagogy at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University. Joanna is enthusiastic about teaching singing to students at West End State School and enjoys assisting with the school choir.  Joanna can be contacted at [email protected]
