Reunion Island pianist Meddy Gerville is pleased to announce the release of his new album Jazz Amwin featuring Grammy award winner Horacio El Negro Hernandez on drums, French bass player Dominique Di-Piazza, Jean-Marie Ecay on guitar and Meddy Gerville (piano, vocal).

This album perfectly illustrates Gerville's artistic quest of a fusion between jazz, its sophisticated harmonies, creative freedom and the swing and complex rhythms of Maloya, the “blues made in Reunion."
