Msindaba Jazz Band are a six-piece ensemble from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, dedicated to preserving and evolving the beni-inspired celebratory music of the Swahili coast. Through masterful call-and-response drumming, brass, and percussion, the band creates immersive, audience-responsive performances that honor the spontaneous spirit of Tanzanian communal gatherings.
