Jazz pianist Michael Wolff plans a 9/30 benefit concert at the Berkeley Jazz School, to raise funds for a scholarship in his mother's name. Proceeds will benefit The Sanville Institute, a PHD program in social work—Wolff's mother, Elise Blumenfeld, was a PHD social worker.
