There are several artists with the name Md. The first MD to release was in 1983. MD was a Swedish punk band that released a 7" and one LP. The track "Manisch Depressiv" from the band's single was later comped on Killed By Death #7. Jaakko Manninen, sometimes called (kschzt), from Finland. Previously an active member of the demoscene (as Mellow-D / MD of Five Musicians), founder of Scene.Org and member of TPOLM. He has two albums out as md on Merck records, and two on Blasé as kschzt. Residing in Barcelona, Spain. There is also an MD, also known as Mark Adams, is a budding electronica artist from fogo island, newfoundland. His works with digital sound and dance music technology has resulted in his debut album "Remnants (on the 909)". The album's been perceived as an electonic storybook, taking elements from many genres like hip-hop, ambient, techno and new age. MD has released a new record for 2007, entitled "Supply". The album features a mixture of danceable and ambient electronica with a mix of New Age elements and overall atmoshpere. The First single from the album is a double feature of the title track and the song "Bountiful". On Feb 9th, 2008, mark released "Rewind the 909 EP", featuring 4 b-sides and 2 remixes from the remnants sessions. In February 2009, MD is expected to release his third studio LP, entitled "VERB". The lead single is "We're All Alone". A Belgian metalband also goes by the name MD. They just released their first full album entitled "Embracing // The Disease". Their music can best be described as an energetic combination between thrash metal and punkrock/rock 'n roll. Check out samples at www.myspace.com/mdthrash
