Currently: Professional Bassist for Abby’s Agenda, Musical Director for 50th High School Reunion Band (2019) Musical Experience: Bassist and singer with Pierce Arrow and numerous “high-school” and summer bands playing New England gigs (schools, private parties, private clubs) 1965-1970 Bassist (occasional) in small jazz combo in southern Vermont 1971-1974 Bass lessons through Berklee College 1971-1974 Family bassist 1974-present Editor and Publisher, The Music and Travel Report, published 1990-1997: An e-mail journal of CD and concert reviews, interviews, commentary and opinion on music, stories on travel experiences and great drives, personal anecdotes, and occasionally a restaurant review. Electric Bass, bass arrangements for Abby’s Agenda, 2003-present, playing gigs in New England. Attended New Hampshire Bass Festival 2007-2016 and Bass Workouts in 2008-2016. Received personal instruction from Rufus Reid, Michael Manring, Todd Johnson, Jim Stinnett, et al. Produced Jimmy's Party of Nine, Trouble and Together, at Flynn Space, Burlington, VT, Apeil 12-13, 2024, about the troubles we all face as individuals, as couples, and as a society, and coming together in peace and love to deal with the problems, told in music from the 1960s, 1970s, and beyond.
