Quick Trio Playing Original Jazz Music, this guitar-bass-drums and guitar-organ-drums combo is winning over enthusiastic audiences during in-demand appearances at jazz clubs, festivals, glass-blowing studios, restaurants, hotels, museum concerts, garden parties and downtown artwalks. Quick Trio is known for getting asked back to play again for private events, for being in regular rotation at music clubs(Ye Olde Durty Bird, Cliff Bell’s and many more), and for making the show at jazz festivals (Defiance Jazz Festival, Columbus Jazz & Ribs). Quick Trio knows how to make a room sound good, playing at the Right Volume for social gatherings. When in front of Lively Listening Crowds, Quick Trio also steps on the gas to make it a show that people will remember and that people will want to ask Quick Trio back for an encore performance. The musical challenge for the group is to make each tune, for the listening audience, a cohesion of melody, harmony, spirit, groove and plain good fun. Quick Trio is what Jason envisioned he could do in response to jazz legends who inspire him (Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Jim Hall, Art Tatum, and Thelonious Monk, Wes Montgomery, Grant Green to name a few) and culmination of his decades of training. After Quick Trio performed live on Jazz Spectrum on WGTE 91.3 FM. Jazz Spectrum’s host, Fritz Byers, noted that: “I felt privileged to have such an intimate seat from which to observe your trio and listen to your music. I like your CD, but even more do I like the experience of hearing you play in person.
