James Martocci

Jim Martocci began his singing career as a member of NYC’s St. Patrick’s Cathedral Boys Choir in 1958. He bought his first jazz record, Miles’ “ESP” in 1965, and has loved jazz ever since. After the musicals (Fiddler, Damn Yankees) and chorus music (New Jersey Choral Society), he has returned to jazz as Jimmie Divine, and has performed at the Lenox Lounge, Cleopatra’s Needle, Winberie’s Bistro, @SEAPORT! and many other met area venues. His latest venture is the Jimmie Divine Quartet, featuring Takeshi Asai,Piano, Lou Pappas,Bass, and Jon Berger,Drums.
