GRIFF
- Fargetta (Radio Deejay - M2O) - Albertino (Radio Deejay - M2O) - Eiffel 65 - Marvin - Andrea Prezioso - Cristina D'Avena - Gemboy - Marco Ravelli - Gabry Ponte - Skrillex - Nathalie Aarts from Soundlovers - Alexia - Righeira - Sabrina Salerno - Alberto Remondini e Dino Brown - Steve Angello (SHM) - Vivian from DaBlitz - Dj Ross - Erika - Neja - Club Dogo - Carolina Marquez - Marco Cavallo - Rene' La Bulgara - Jerry Cala' - Umberto Smaila - Ivana Spagna - Paps'n'Skar - Magic Box - Paolo Noise - Belzebass - Italobrothers - Brothers - Hotel Saint George - Public Enemy - Dj 2P and Madman - Nitro - Il Pagante - Lazza - Gemitaiz - Villabanks - Geolier - Shiva - Paky

Jimmy McGriff: Late 1969
Source:
JazzWax by Marc Myers
In the 1960s, organist Jimmy McGriff had a more pointed attack on the keyboard than many Hammond organists of the period. His playing was percussive and funky, with a heavy dose of the blues. McGriff was childhood friends with organ pioneer Jimmy Smith, and organist Richard Groove" Holmes gave him lessons. He also studied at the Juilliard School of Music and with Smith and Milt Buckner among others. In the 1960s, McGriff became the house organist at clubs in Philadelphia, ...

Digital Music News
If there's one question this industry can't reliably answer, it's 'who owns what?' And a close second, 'how do you locate these owners?' Some songs are easy, but others have complicated ownership structures and splits that traverse recordings and publishing, or cross international borders. And, it can be incredibly complicated to contact, license, or pay the right parties (just ask SoundExchange). So why not create a comprehensive, centralized database forfinding, contacting, and then licensing musical works? Well, that's exactly the ...

Rifftides by Doug Ramsey
Steve Kuhn, Mostly Coltrane (ECM). Kuhn pays homage to John Coltrane, who briefly employed him in 1960 when the pianist was on the doorstep of his career. His tribute encompasses elegiac, earthy and wildly exploratory facets of the great saxophonist. It may remind listeners that, despite a relatively low profile, Kuhn is a major pianist of our time. His grasp of the nature, or natures, of Coltrane's music is evident throughout. His keyboard touch, his fluidity, the flow and density ...
