FLOATING SHEEP
Electro-Acoustic Nu-Jazz Quartet

"Forget everything you thought you knew about handpan."
Floating Sheep is a boundary-pushing jazz ensemble bringing a fresh, vibrant, and
cutting-edge sound to the contemporary stage. Blending ceremonial organic sounds with
electronic textures, the quartet's music is rooted in the pure art of live performance and
improvisation.
At the forefront of their identity is an instrument rarely seen in the genre: a set of Chromatic
Handpans. This unique sonic texture leads a musical journey that shifts between
high-octane energy and calm, atmospheric depths—moving seamlessly from the gentle
stroke of the handpan to aggressive saxophone screams and deep-bass ambient ecstatic
noise.
Every performance is a unique, moving experience. We invite you to come and listen.
