Elliot Elliot

As a composer, Elliot Elliot has released seven albums, with jazz as a central point of reference.

His debut album Done was released in 2005, followed by Science and Magic in 2013, featuring artists such as singer Sara Isaksson, jazz pianist Daniel Tilling, and national fiddler Mats Edén. His third album, Yeah Low (2015), included musicians like trumpeter Peter Asplund and drummer Morgan Ågren.

In 2017, Sympathy Breakthrough was released and described by Lira Music Magazine as jazz infused with folk music, cinematic elements, and funk. The album featured, among others, pianist Mats Öberg and nyckelharpa player David Eriksson. In 2019, Elliot released Nature for President, with contributions from pianist Adam Forkelid, vibraphonist Mattias Ståhl, and Brazilian pianist Eduardo Taufic.

His sixth album, Music, I Love You!, came out on Naxos Prophone Records in 2020 and featured musicians such as Morgan Ågren, Mattias Ståhl, Adam Forkelid, Jonas Lindeborg, Krydda Sundström, and Daniel Tilling.

The music magazine Lira selected the album as one of the best jazz releases of 2020.

In 2023, Get High on This! was released, bringing together musicians from several continents.

Anna Ahnlund (Dina Ögon, Stockholm) sings on Ego Is Not Amigo. Kinkini Deb recorded vocals in Calcutta, Mikhaela Faye in South Africa, drummer Itunu Joe played in a studio in Lagos, harpist Tomoko Sato recorded in Los Angeles, and oboist Angela Schleihauf, a member of the Ottawa Symphony Orchestra, contributed from Ottawa. The album also features well-known Swedish musicians such as Karin Hammar, Morgan Ågren, Filip Ekestubbe, Peter Asplund, Fredrik Ekdahl, Christian Spering, Manne Skafvenstedt, and Jonas Lindeborg.

His most recent album, Feeling Is Everything (2025), opens with pianist Daniel Stenbaek—often referred to as “Sweden’s Mr. Gospel”—together with Hammond organist Andreas Hellkvist. Nigerian drummer HiteeSticks performs on all tracks, while North Carolina–based Victoria Victoria contributes wordless vocals on Spontaneous Behaviour, alongside bassist Henrik Linder (Dirty Loops). An unexpected layer is added through a Greek DJ in Tokyo, who scratches sounds recorded in the Tokyo Metro.
