Elizabeth Rose

Songwriter, singer, pianist, Elizabeth Rose is an Equity actor who starred in the hit regional premier of "I Love You, Youre Perfect, Now Change" at the Denver Performing Arts Center. In 2005, she starred in the regional premier and toured with the cast of Newsical the Musical. Rose just finished a full length feature film, Juncture, directed by James Seale. Available on disc, the nine song collection Still Pretending was written at an acoustic piano, in a parlor setting, and has the flavors of classical piano, soul cabaret and Broadway Blues. The band tours as a solo, duo, trio, or four piece ensemble. Roses live shows include bass, drums and solo instrumentalists on cello, violin and sax. The all original repertoire is musically appropriate for an eclectic mix of venues: martini lounges, banquet halls, private parties, theaters, jazz or R&B clubs, and ballrooms.

Elizabeth Roses Still Pretending is available for listening on the website at elizabethrose.net. The first printing has sold out and the second printing is pending. The second record is in the studio, tracked and ready for mixing.

Mercy on Me a new track on the second record, is enjoying airplay. Elizabeth is in regular rotation at The Mountain 99.5 Denver. She is a featured artist at Sambuca Jazz Caf in Denver. The band is a four year invitee of the Cherry Creek Arts Festival. Elizabeth is most honored to have been asked recently to be a return guest to Lannies Cabaret in the Clock Tower, downtown Denver.
