Eli MI Heath

Eli Heath is an emerging American bassist, composer, and musical director. Currently located in Boston, Massachusetts, he performs frequently throughout the country in diverse musical settings, and has appeared at festivals and venues across North America, Europe, and Brazil.

Eli co-leads contemporary jazz octet, Frisson, and has performed and recorded as a sideperson with artists including Charles Neville, Kenny Werner, Luciana Souza, Dominick Farinacci, Nicole Henry, Erik Lawrence, and Jamey Haddad. He has also composed and music directed for theatrical productions including "The Brothers Size" and "What We Look Like." In 2019, Eli graduated from Oberlin College and Conservatory with a BM in Jazz Performance and a BA in Africana Studies with highest honors. He is currently completing a master’s degree in Contemporary Global Jazz Performance on a full-tuition scholarship at Berklee College of Music.
