East Nash Grass

Forged in the boiling cauldron of Madison, TN— behold: East Nash Grass. Begin with the ardent power of Harry Clark’s mandolin chop, steadily bounding forward like a locomotive engine on the Arkansas Southern. Add the silky voice of James Kee, whirring effortlessly through the mountains of East Tennessee. Sprinkle a few dashes of Cory Walker’s traditional banjo rolls, morphing with ease into a face-melting flurry of harmonic ferocity. Stir to combine. As the pot boils, we work in Gaven Largent; a dobro-wielding wolf-man with the voice of a mountain bluebird and a great hat collection. And don’t forget a hearty dose of industrial strength fiddle tempest from the molten bow of Maddie Denton. Almost ready! To finish it off, we add Jeff Picker— caressing the bass, surveying the scene, steadfastly navigating the crew through the storm to calm waters. Now you’re ready to serve “Last Chance to Win”: the latest album from East Nash Grass. Available everywhere Fall 2023.
