Dan Kozar was born and raised in Welland, Ontario. At the age of 12, he became inspired by one of his heroes, George Harrison, to pursue his endeavor of becoming a professional guitarist. With years of studying & performing, Dan acquired a vast armory of technique and musicality in the fields of composition & stage performance. In addition to studying at Eastman School of Music Summer Jazz Studies, Dan attributes his distinctive command of the instrument to his studies with Lloyd Garber, Reg Schwager & Ed Bickert at the Banff School of Fine Arts. A guitar teacher both in the Niagara Region and Toronto area, his accomplishments have led him to work on independent & promotional films and later this year, Dan will be recording with Ghanaian born singer/composer, Holly Boadi.
