He has studied bass and improvisation with Rusty Holloway, Donald Brown, Jerry Coker, Mark Boling, Gregory Tardy, Michael Moore, Glenn Dewey, and Wade Beach.
He has performed with such musical luminaries as Jerry Coker, Donald Brown, Sean Jones, Harold Mabern, Wade Beach, Jeremy Wilson, Seth Kibel, Allyn Johnson, Joe McCarthy, Bill Mobley and Gregory Tardy. He continues to teach and perform frequently in and around the D.C. area.
