David E. Mason

Started becoming fascinated by sounds at the age of 5 with pots, pans and wooden spoons. Then homed in on the organization of pitches after picking up the recorder at the age of 7. After that came the years of formulation, manipulation and organization; eventually picking up the saxophone at age 10. Since then life has been driven by the developing personality and creationism of my musical experience.

In essence my musical experience is a window into an obsessive-compulsive hodgepodge of my life; on display for anyone but meant for no one. My music is an expressionistic collection of my experiences transduced into vibrations as a way for me to continue my cycle. I don’t want everyone to listen to my music, that is not my goal.

My goal: The portrayal of music in the most authentic and genuine form.

Doing this is the fastest way to connect with how people are affected by my music; no nonsense, no bullshit. Source: David Mason
