Curt Farrell
Curt started playing drums at the age of 9 when he was captivated by the first drummer he saw playing drum set. Playing all thru school and then with his first band back home he was hooked. After school he started searching out local teachers in the Joliet and Chicago area which led him to an audition at The American Conservatory Of Music in Chicago, where he studied with Jack Mouse Drum, set James Dutton marimba, Peter Rogala, Snare drum and Brad Stirtz who later became the head of the percussion dept. at the conservatory.
Curt’s schooling with these teachers pointed him in the direction of knowledge about music. Learning styles from Jazz, Latin, Blues, Jobbing rhythms that allowed him to work many different job situations.
