Music blossomed in Newark when the Brick City Jazz Orchestra made its premiere under blue skies. With the opening notes of Kenny Dorham’s “Blue Bossa,” NJPAC’s Brick City Jazz Orchestra heralded its official debut in Newark’s Branch Brook Park.
