The Berklee Global Jazz Institute (BGJI) will honor legendary jazz saxophonist and composer Wayne Shorter with the Berklee Global Jazz Institute Jazz Master Award in recognition of his exceptional contributions as a saxophonist, educator and composer. The award ceremony will take place following the Wayne Shorter 80th Birthday Celebration concert at Symphony Hall on Sunday, November 24 at 5:00 pm.
