Aurélie Fauthous
Born into a family of musicians, Aurélie Fauthous began playing the violin and piano at the age of six at the Conservatoire de Pau under the guidance of Alain Loger and Eric Fauthous.
She continued her studies at the Conservatoire de Toulouse, where in 2012 she obtained a Diploma in Violin Performance in the class of Nathalie Descamps.
In 2011, she joined the Orchestre Français des Jeunes under the direction of Dennis Russel Davies and performed in Berlin, Linz, La Chaise-Dieu, Aix-en-Provence, and the Salle Pleyel in Paris.
Admitted to the Institut Supérieur des Arts de Toulouse, she obtained in 2017 a National Diploma in Professional Musician in the class of Raphaël Oleg and Nathalie Descamps. A year later, she received a first prize in Baroque violin at the Pôle Supérieur des Arts Baroques de Toulouse under the guidance of Gilles Colliard.
She has participated in productions of the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse, the Opéra Orchestre National de Montpellier, and the Orchestre de Pau-Pays de Béarn. She has also performed in various chamber music ensembles, including the Trio Fauthous.
In January 2018, she passed the audition for the Orchestre de Chambre de Toulouse.
