Adele Wilding

Award-winning Adele Wilding is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, composer, arranger and pianist. A distinctive writer of finely crafted melodies and introspective lyrics, she is receiving increasing recognition from both sides of the Atlantic, following the release of her acclaimed, self-produced debut CD, "Emeralds (& Other Little Gems)" (Blue Dawn Records). Her organic delivery, her eclectic approach to composition and her innovative but accessible arrangements are rapidly making her one of the foremost singer/songwriters on the contemporary scene.

Adele’s formal jazz training culminated in the Diploma in Jazz and Popular Music Studies (performance, composition and arranging) from the renowned Goldsmiths College, University of London. She has since been performing in premiere jazz and live music venues in London and throughout the UK, among them the Jazz Cafe, the Sands Jazz Venue, the Troubadour and the Hackney Empire Bullion Room. As a solo cabarettist, she appears at high profile music events in London.

In October 2005, Adele was awarded the BWA Nina Simone Jazz Award 2005 at the Vortex Jazz Club, London.

Adele is currently working on her third CD. 'Sketches On Blue', a limited edition EP, is now available and can be purchased from Adele's website.
