My Jazz Story
I love jazz because... it is organic, poetic, syncretic, abstract, ultrareal, expressive, and intelligent.
I was first exposed to jazz on AM radio, then CD 101.9, then in an expository Writing Class during undergrad.
The best show I ever attended was Robert Glasper and Friends at Blue Note
